PRESENTATION & POSTER GUIDELINES

Guidelines for Oral Presenters

    All platform presentations will be 20 min except for plenary and keynote talks. The Conference Committee recommends 17 min for presentation and 3 min for Q&A. It is also recommended that you use Microsoft PowerPoint for presentation. If you are to use other presentation tools, please inform us and we will make arrangement for you accordingly.

Please email us your presentation or load it to the computer in the auditorium at least 30 min before your session starts so that we have time to test your presentation. Please save your PPT file as PPT 2010 version to avoid incompatibility issue.

 Technical Session Equipment

The technical session meeting room will be equipped with the following:

  • LCD projector

  • screen (wide screens)

  • Podium

  • podium microphone or lapel microphone

  • laser pointer/remote controller

  Guidelines for Posters

        All posters must be mounted one hour before the scheduled session starts. Poster presenters must remain with their posters for the duration of their scheduled session as indicated in the technical program. All posters must remain up until the session ends and then must be removed within one hour. We cannot assume responsibility for materials beyond these time limits.

     For those of you who will present poster highlights in the platform sessions, Please make sure to include your assigned poster number on the title slide of your presentation. There will be no Q&A time for poster highlight presentations during the platform sessions. Q&A will take place during the poster session instead.

 TECHNICAL DETAILS

  • The size of your poster cannot be larger than 200 cm (width) x 100 cm (height) (80 in x 40 in).

  • Font size: printed letter, larger than 5/16 inch or 7 mm

 ORGANIZATION

  • Organize the poster units in an orderly fashion for a logical flow top to bottom or left to right.

  • The results should be the major portion of the poster with the conclusions stated briefly.
